Ksisters started in August 2016. As we look back on how we started out curating mother-daughter twinning outfits to now, an online store with a wide selection of high quality Korean beauty, fashion and lifestyle products, we always feel amazed, humbled, and so very grateful for the continuous support from our customers. So each year as we grow, we love to show our appreciation to our loyal customers: the Ksisters VIPs.

In 2017, we invited our VIPs to a leather bracelet making session. In 2018, we worked with the lovely Fiona Treadwell to organise a flower bouquet making workshop. This year, we roped in the help of Friska (@friska_f) at the beginning of the year to conceptualise and plan 2019 #KsistersVIP event. With a vision of lush spring and joyful vibe, we thought of doing something different. This time round, we invited our VIPs and their little ones to an afternoon of dessert and pampering.

Spring at Garosu

It could be the beautiful trees lining the street or the quaint little shops and cafes peppered along the road. There is something about Garosugil that makes it so irresistibly charming. It then became our dream to let our VIPs experience Garosu spring time right here in Singapore. 

Saturday, 13 April morning while you were still sleeping, we transformed Trixilini (our stockist located at Scotts Square #03-08/09) to a little Garosu. Spring in Korea is synonymous with cherry blossoms and to create the perfect mood, Friska had worked closely with With Every. They built the most beautiful floral arch that act as a photo booth. This arrangement mimicking cherry blossoms was so drop dead gorgeous it was really hard for us to say goodbye to it at the end of the day!

This spring floral theme flows throughout the space, including the dessert table where our lovely guests could find a selection of teatime munches. They were indeed as delicious as they looked.

But what's Garosu without a spot of shopping? Our VIPs also had the chance to get a sneak peek, try on, and have first dibs of our new product launches. One brand we were so excited to bring in and showcase was OuiOui bags, a hip and cheery range of leather bags by an upcoming designer in Korea.

Moving on from the Latest Bags and Accessories Corner, we have the Skincare Corner where we displayed some of our star brands such as I Woke Up Like This and Serendibeauty. The ladies had a chance to try on the wide range of products that may help solve their specific skin concerns and feel how the products applied on their skin. We also had a skin analysis tool that was such a hit! 

Done with the skincare? Let's go to the Make Up Corner where the lovely Clara Song (@clarasongmakeup) was all ready to give our VIPs some personalised make up tips using our upcoming DreSkin lipsticks and eyeshadow as well as Lavien Cushion. Flawless complexion and easy fresh make up, checked!

Now that we have our #selfcare done, our VIP ladies had a chance to smell the loveliest range of Soohyang home fragrances which now come in both diffuser AND wax tablet forms. But wait, if you love Soohyang home fragrance so much you wish you could smell it on-the-go, then guess what? We just brought in Soohyang's car vent too!

But of course we did not forget about the pampering session for the ladies and their minis! So we set up a Manicure Corner and it was buzzing throughout the day! Our busy VIP ladies, especially those who are moms to babies and young toddlers, really enjoyed having a relaxing time getting beautiful manicures. What can we say? You deserve it, ladies! <3

Meanwhile, the little VIPs also got a chance to feel like their mamas - having their nails painted. That's not all, they also had such a blast choosing temporary tattoos, putting on sheet mask, and trying on lip crayons! All using Shushu Paint non-toxic kids cosmetic products. We feel so delighted to see them showing off their painted nails to their moms and our team members!

We also set up a Kids Corner where the minis could do some coloring and art&craft with Friska - and give their mamas some me-time to shop or get their nails done ;)

And that's it for this year's #KsistersVIP event! We really hope our VIPs enjoyed the day (and their goodie bags!) and felt our immense gratitude we have for them.
