Q2. My skin appears red after use. Is this normal?
A2. A temporary redness may occur due to increased microcirculation from the carbonic acid activity. This is generally short-lived and should subside within 10–30 minutes, depending on individual skin sensitivity.

Q3. What differentiates this mask from conventional bubble or clay masks?
A3. Unlike conventional pore care masks, this product utilises a CO₂ Bohr effect — a skin-safe chemical reaction between sodium bicarbonate and citric acid that generates carbonic acid on the skin. This allows for deep pore purification without abrasive exfoliation or stripping the skin barrier.

Q4. Why is the sheet mask dry?
A4. The dry mask is pre-treated with 40% citric acid and activates only upon contact with the gel-based bubble pack. This separation ensures optimal freshness and efficacy of the CO₂ reaction at the time of use.

Q5. Can the remaining gel or mask be reused?
A5. No. Each mask set is designed for single-use application to ensure the CO₂ reaction is activated effectively. We do not recommend storing or reusing any leftover components.

A10. Yes. Each set includes an additional neck sheet mask to extend the benefits to the décolletage area. Apply any remaining gel from the syringe to the neck prior to layering the sheet mask.

Q12. What is the included sponge for? Why is it damp?
A12. The sponge is provided to assist with the gentle removal of any remaining gel after mask removal. It is especially useful for cleansing hard to reach areas such as the nose, hairline, and jawline. The sponge comes wet/damp to prevent it from breakage.
